Head of Business Development.

The purpose of this job is prospecting new clients, build a proper pipeline that can convert to revenue. This person will own the relationship with the sales cycle from lead to close.
Job Specific Responsibilities
•Develop an understanding of ALEF s platform from Education and Technology perspectives.
•Build and maintain a sales pipeline through cold calling, LinkedIn, referrals and any other sales tool.
•Manage the sales cycle from lead to close.
•Deliver product demos, provide insightful technical and pedagogical answers, and articulate value for customers (phone, in-person, and at conferences)
Key Performance Indicators
•Pipeline health and progression
• A number of new qualified opportunities and win rates.
Education, Experience and Required Skills
•BA/BS degree in Education, Business Administration or any related field
•5 years of experience in account management, business development and/or sales in the Education field
•Proven track record of effective revenue generation in a B2B environment and working to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets
•Proven track record in sales (lead generation, building pipelines, etc.)
