ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Reconcile accounts of UAE and Qatar on UAE entity.
• Preparing monthly financial reports.
• Preparing P&L and Balance Sheet Variance Analysis on monthly basis.
• Conducting monthly analysis of GLs.
• Quarterly financial consolidation reporting using QuickBooks.
• Treasury Management
• Checking bank reconciliations and petty cash.
• Performing monthly DSO Analysis and follow up on payments.
• Receivables management with stringent follow ups.
• Matching and Reconciling project revenues with contracts.
• Checking Fixed Assets and its amortizations, Prepayments, payroll and all provisions made.
• Organizing and supporting the auditors to conduct annual audits.
• Support HR when needed regarding financial matters such as Payroll, Employee expenses, Timesheets, Clarifications.
 Payables:
o Process all supplier invoices after properly checking its completeness
o Ensures correctness of Staff Expense Claims before booking in QB
o Communicate and reconcile with supplier to maintain a reconciled ledger
o Process Online Banking, Check, and Cash Payments
o Prepares monthly accruals for invoices not yet received
o Prepares supplier payment summary every batch of supplier payment (once a month)
 Receivables:
o Maintain Customer Ledger and reconcile with customer in case of differences
o Monthly invoicing to the clients vis a i
o Booking of Provision for Bad debts and Write-offs
o Provides monthly accruals for time sheets that are not yet received before the closing period and are not yet invoiced to the client
• Treasury:
o Prepares monthly forecast of payments to suppliers
o Prepare and manage Cash Reports and making Online Bank Transfers
o Manage any bank and transaction issues
o Maintain Monthly Bank Reconciliation
o Maintaining analysis of monthly bank movements
• General Accounting:
o Booking of all transactions and completing the full cycle of accounting.
o Ensure that all Balance Sheet Accounts are properly accounted.
o Maintaining a monthly reconciliation of all Accruals still outstanding.
o Maintaining a monthly reconciliation for all Open items in Receivables and Payables.
o Maintaining a reconciled balance between Intercompany Accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
o Prepare monthly closing and Financial Reporting
o Book necessary journals for month-end adjustments.
o Coordinate with external auditors to complete Interim and Annual Financial Statements
• Taxation
o Booking and monthly reconciliation of Taxes (VAT, Withholding Taxes, etc.), reporting of VAT to the FTA portal and ultimately paying the VAT due.
o Knowledge on Provisions relating to implementation of VAT in Service companies on complex situations.
• And other ad hoc jobs as required by your line manager from time to time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, as a minimum requirement.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preference to UAE and or GCC experience.
• CPA/CA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience with QuickBooks
