The AFCAP Task Order Manager reports to the AFCAP Deputy Program Manager and is responsible for oversight and management of Vectrus AFCAP Task Orders in the Greater CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AoR). The senior Vectrus employee at each Greater CENTCOM AoR Task Order (normally a Site Manager) reports to the Task Order Manager. The Task Order Manager will provide technical guidance, management directives, and leadership for task order personnel. Is responsible for; accomplishment of company goals and objectives, coordination with program management business advisory functions (Finance, HR, Contracts, Supply Chain, Safety, ESH, Quality, Etc.), and monitors delivery of services to ensure performance objectives are met.
Interfaces with local US Government representatives as the primary senior Vectrus point of contact within the AoR. Works closely with Government agencies and personnel to ensure proper coordination and communication occurs to enhance overall mission accomplishment. If necessary, interfaces with the Host Nation agencies to facilitate performance of company specific objectives. Ensures all Host Nation coordination is accomplished IAW US Government site requirements.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Provide technical direction and manage delivery of services to ensure performance objectives are met in accordance with USG and company requirements.
Develops, implements and applies management control and procedures. Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.
Ensures personnel understand how their efforts influence individual site’s ability to meet and exceed contractual reqirements.
Ensure personnel receive objectives and standards, are held accountable for meeting them, and are rewarded for their efforts.
Collects data, prepares and tracks task order deliverables, and develops/maintains plans.
Coordinates with Site Managers to provide progress reports and issue resolution.
Manages personnel by providing performance feedback, guidance, coaching, training, and counseling as required.
Overseeing conduct of ES&H management functions to include training, documentation, and control of ES&H requirements and activities.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Candidate must possess a driver license from country of origin and obtain an international driver license prior to deployment.
General office equipment; commercial motor vehicle; cellular phone.
Work is generally conducted in an office environment; however, duties may occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
