Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to work in the application with others and formulate with additives for various technologies water base, solvent base using proper PPE
Provide detailed technical support which delivers added value to customers (external/internal)
Participate actively in department, team and project meetings
Initiate and execute all laboratory activities within the required timescale and milestone objectives, by utilizing accumulated technical expertise to progress the work
Maintain adequate supplies of all necessary laboratory consumable items
Maintain the laboratory in a clean and orderly fashion at all times, while ensuring that all required analytical instrumentation and other equipment in the laboratory is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use
Skills
Education and experience required :
2 to 3 years of working experience
Exhibits & fosters team behavior within & outside the laboratory
Excellent communication, presentation & organizational skills
Possess good analytical problem-solving skills to make timely & accurate decisions
Working knowledge of project management tools
Clear & concise record keeping
Education Requirements
BSc in Chemistry/MSc in Chemistry
Knowledge in paint, coatings and formulation are an added advantage
