Responsibilities
• Determine how best to represent a concept visually
• Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use
• Develop the overall look or style of a publication, an advertising campaign, or a theater, television, or film set
• Manage graphic designers
• Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members
• Talk to clients to develop an artistic approach and style
• Coordinate activities with other artistic and creative departments
• Develop detailed budgets and timelines
• Present designs to clients for approval
• Manage projects and clients
Qualifications & Standards
• A minimum of 4 years of PR/strategic communications, Advertising experience within an agency
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related subject
• Solid project management experience and a proven ability to oversee multiple projects and client initiatives, and manage teams of both junior and senior colleagues in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate exceptional presentation, writing and analytical skills
• Fluent in both English and Arabic both written and verbal
• Excellent client and interpersonal skills; ability to manage independent client relationships and communicate effectively by phone, email, and in-person
• Well-versed in current events and headline news at local, national, and international levels
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, media databases and social media network
