Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer and Electrical Engineering
The School of Engineering at the American University in Dubai invites qualified applicants for the position
of Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer and/or Electrical Engineering to begin teaching in Fall
2020. There are two vacancies - one in the area of electric power systems and renewable energy, and the
other in the area of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or cloud computing.
The successful candidate will have:
• Undergraduate degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
• Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from a US accredited
institution at the time of appointment.
• A track record of teaching and research in the relevant area. Industrial experience is highly

The compensation package for this position is competitive and is based on the expatriate model. Besides
