Purpose of the role:
• To navigate and steer the business towards sustained Profitability by:
• Working directly with Head of Retail, Territory retail managers and Concept Heads of Depts.
• Analyze territory wise sales performance, key retail metrics and provide insights to Head of Retail.
• Accountable for providing commercial guidance through relevant business information. Providing standard, relevant, and user-friendly business information for the Concept office, territories and users in the Organization.
• Identifying and evaluating business opportunities to enable make optimum decisions.
• Initiating and supporting the development of new ways of working, with focus on our direction of Growth, our People, our customers, efficiency, and profitability.
• Accountable to produce the company dashboard of Retail KPIs and Operational manual.
• Be the Business Partner for the retail commercial roles.
• Further develop a standard set of policies and procedures that support the optimization of sales teams, campaigns and revenue.
Job Responsibility
• To produce accurate KPI and Management dashboard reports that satisfy the needs of the business owners. Responsible for the compilation, summarizing and communicating the KPIs to ensure that they are agreed, communicated and clearly understood by everyone.
• Build Annual Sales Budget & Sales Forecast with different scenarios basis sales trending for each territory.
• Designing the Commercial Calendar covering with thematic & tactical events across GCC Stores with the right offers, marketing activities, new store openings, brand campaigns, store refits, new store launch offers.
• Deep dive on GP & Markdown analysis which in results support for planning the commercial calendar with increased profitability.
• To work closely with the Commercial Trading Team to set up an effective sales operations management structure that drives efficiency and leverages all sales opportunities.
• To have a strong commercial focus driving the Commercial Trading team to deliver profitable and sustainable growth in line with the company strategy.
• To provide business leaders with relevant business information in a standard format that supports clear understanding communication and drives effective decision making.
• Responsible for Company performance analysis and together with knowledge of our business and of different working processes across the whole company identify proven solutions, standardize, and ensure best practice is used throughout.
• Playing a critical role in Market Intelligence , knowing the right competitor, tracking revenue sales of competition and bench marking the market share. To be totally knowledgeable on revenue streams, particularly identifying initiatives to increase revenue potential and fully capitalize on the different channels within the business, customers, and employees.
• To use best practice in stores and channels to deliver a high performing sales team, this includes structure, headcount, systems, processes, and benchmarking.
• Responsible for identifying business opportunities which will grow revenue and improve profit by using all available information and benchmarking stores and channels.
• Develop & roll out Staff Productivity Module across GCC to track & improve staff performance.
• Responsible to work together with the relevant Managers to close the gap between the performance of our stores and regions. Use benchmarking, good, and standard practice together with standard business operational reviews to identify potential and implement proven solutions.
• Contribute to analyse benefits, costs and investments and develop business cases across the retail functions.
• Property Study to Rationalize the estate to maximize productivity & profitability through a structured review of stores by closure/ relocation/ resizing/ new store opening.
• Support in Feasibility Study to be prepared for new proposed property covering store catchment analysis, cannibalization effect to the existing stores, market study, closest competitors, new developments, rental feasibility, returns/sq. ft, capex calculations, pay back in years.
• Analyzing Customer Shopping Pattern and presenting a study on change of customer preference using company's loyalty program data.
• Creating SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for improving operational excellence at store.
• Responsible for rollout of all Business Excellence Projects and work along with IT
• Managing franchise business and expansion in consultation with senior management.
Customer Experience
• Store environment & layout to be executed in a way that enhances customer experience
• Implement & manage measures to monitor customer satisfaction & service levels
• Implement initiatives to improve customer experience
• Utilize available customer analytics to order to enhance customer experience
• Regularly engage with team members to discuss & agree ways of improving customer experience
