Your day to day
Attends the daily service briefings. Make sure to fill the opening and closing checklist of the banqueting and meeting events. Coordinates the daily task list with the Banquet/Catering Service Manager Ensures timely delivery of all printing matters. Ensures that stock levels are kept for all printed items secures quotations, suggests awarding, follows up good for print, colour separations and other printing requirements. Coordinates with the Training Manager Programs and courses to be held in the premises. Supports the C&E Manager in their training requirements. Supports the Department with any coordination work required on an internal or external basis. Administers his field of acting independently. Keep a good working environment Having a good system for filling & organizing Preparing & organizing of the buffet menu tags Preparing & organizing of Banquet signboards Preparing & requesting the material list for all events Preparing & requesting the beverage list for all the events Arranging the casual staff/Sbaba coordinating with C&E Manager & having a proper recording system Preparing monthly payment report for the casual staff Arranging - In & Out - sign for staff sheet & send it Monthly to the HR Department with the approval of Asst. F&B Manager. Follow up the absence & sickness signatures Follow up all the bills if it is charged due function sheets Follow up the monthly, weekly, & daily Company responsibilities & update them Performance-related duties and special projects as assigned. What we need from you
Some high secondary certificate and/or Food & Beverage training in Banqueting Department. Diploma in service of food and beverage from the Hotel Training Center/School. At least one years of related experience, gained in International Hotel Chain, preferably IHG. Personality/appearance, Pleasant, Smart, Well groomed and good speaking voice. English, Arabic essential. Certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card, as required by local law.
