1. وظيفة الغرض
The Head of Bids is responsible for managing the end-إلى-end proposal process ensuring the activities are aligned to the strategic direction of the organization.
The Head of Bids is responsible for delivering: Expressions of Interest; Pre-Qualification Questionnaires; Requests for Information; and Proposals (in range $250kMto $100M) of the highest quality that best represent the Company Group, as well as offering a competitive service offering for the client.

a. Lead review of all ITTs/RFPs to establish if they are within the business’s capability and interest to tender, highlighting any issues and proposed solutions to input to bid/اي قرار المزايدة.
b. Provide expert advice, الإخراج, and delegation of work to the proposal team, ensuring the solution design, quality and technical writing of each proposal meets the highest standard.
c. On complex or large proposals take the lead on writing technical and solutions in liaison with Operations team and Subject Matter Experts.
d. Schedule and coordinate the proposal development activities to produce well-conceived proposals, ensuring all team members understand their role, inputs and timeline for completion.
e. Responsible for knowledge database system, training and educating new team members and refreshing the material within the database.
f. Maintain accurate record of status of proposals submitted and win/loss records on shared company database.
g. Responsible for ensuring the proposals are technically and commercially coherent: that scope of services are consistent with the prices offered; are an accurate reflection of equipment and service costs; include required overhead recoveries and margins; and are presented in the format required by the client.
h. Responsible for approving the technical and pricing proposals and presenting to senior management for release to client.
i. Responsible for bid team internal processes, record keeping and compliance with ISO 9001. Liaise will all departments to maintain a consistent approach to the proposal process.
j. On notification of contract award responsible for conducting handover briefing to Operations, and supporting departments including Finance, الموارد البشرية, commercial and legal, Quality and HSE.
k. Manage proposal production area and control costs.
l. Work in conjunction with the Pricing and Finance Managers to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of pricing.
m. Work with the Legal and Contracts Department to manage contract changes, requests and approve revisions/تعديلات.
n. Work with Business Development and Operations to produce solutions/CONOPS to client requirements.
o. Provide guidance and feedback to the Bid team for continual improvement.
p. Perform other duties as requested by Business Development Director

3. Job Specific technical


a. Management skills 10 years’+ خبره. القياده, التحليلية, decisive but consultative; capable of innovative thinking and managing change. Expert knowledge of managing team of Bid Managers
b. Commercial skills – commercially astute; capable of leading in production of business plans, technical and commercial bids, contract analysis and budget management. Expert knowledge of security industry and/or services industry operating in Austere environments.
c. Communication skills – first class oral and written English communication skills; capable of developing a cogent, well analysed papers/العروض.
d. Requires a proactive ability to grasp complex concepts, collaborate with subject matter experts (internal and external to the business), and ultimately present solutions effectively in written and visual format.


4.Experience and Knowledge

a. Demonstrated achievements in winning proposals, with at least 8 years’ experience in similar position.
b. Demonstrated experience managing a team of proposal managers.
c. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite: Adobe in design illustraitor Excel, كلمة, باور بوينت. Project a distinct advantage.
د. The ability to work efficiently and effectively under very stressful conditions, with multiple and extremely tight deadlines to produce and undertake detailed reviews of a high volume of proposals
