We are an online luxury marketplace looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business Development Executive. This role will help drive the business growth of the company. We’re looking for somebody with the right mix of luxury brand experience, client servicing and impeccable communication skills.
We are hiring two Business Development Executives with experience in signing up luxury and premium merchants / brands (Lifestyle Fashion / Electronics and cars). This is an opportunity for a superstar negotiator and someone with a track record for developing creative new channels of revenue. To be successful in this role you will need to be an innovator, communicator, influencer, and problem solver.
Determine customers’ needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information;
Identify, onboard and manage exclusive new vendors for the Mazzady platform;
Grow the product portfolio, expanding vendor base, recommending prices, helping to develop marketing programs, driving sales/margin improvements and creating best-in-class customer experiences;
Lead negotiations with key partners delivering value to both them and Mazzady;
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders;
Responsible for developing a product strategy and roadmap to attract customers and convert them to auction winners;
Participate in the seasonal product planning process - identifying key products, target customers, initiatives, and featured product categories. Then measure the results and incorporate into future plans;
To act as an effective, professional ambassador for the company at all external events, conferences and presentations when required;
Skills and Qualifications
A background in Buying, Business Development, Brand Management, Product Management, Marketing or Consulting;
Experience within the Luxury Brands market, specifically with a focus on luxury fashion and lifestyle brands;
Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities and commercial relationship building experience;
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a multitude of stakeholders;
Strong organisational skills including prioritisation, scheduling, time management, and meeting stretching deadlines;
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (must be fluent in English);
Detail-oriented with strong analytic skills and expertise in Excel.
Speaking arabic is a plus.
