Business Development Manager
Company Profile
Tenderd is a marketplace for contractors in the UAE to rent construction equipment. Essentially an ber for Heavy Machinery!
We are a startup run by a small tight-knit team, tackling a large and exciting problem. Our goal is to be the leading global platform for Contractors to rent and manage their Heavy Machinery. We are committed to revolutionizing the construction industry by unlocking perfect marketplace efficiencies through groundbreaking technology.
We are the first company in the GCC to accepted into the prestigious Y-combinator accelerator in Silicon Valley.
What you will be doing:
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
• Promote the company s products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements
Skills you need to have:
• Degree and experience in business, marketing or related field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
• Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
• Proven sales track record, Time management and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
• Market knowledge, Communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport
Who are we looking for
We are looking for someone to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
