Profile
The BD Manager needs to establish a good rapport with new clients and continually improve relationships with existing clients in KSA. Furthermore, he/ she should develop the pipeline of new business coming into the Company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the Company provides, and of the Company’s competitive advantages. The ability to create strategic plans for future development is a key part of this role.
Duties and responsibilities
•Identify potential new clients with a focus on the Hejaz region
•Investigate new markets and oversee the Company’s marketing strategy within KSA
•Research and build relationships with new clients
•Plan and work with the tender team to develop proposals that address the clients’ needs, concerns and objectives
•Set up meetings between the key decision-makers of prospective new clients and Havelock One’s directors
•Handle objections by clarifying and highlighting areas of agreement and working through differences to reach a positive conclusion
•Use a variety of negotiation styles to create value and build long-term relationships with clients
•Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs to formally conclude projects
•Build and enhance existing client relationships in order to drive repeat business
Business development planning:
•Attend industry functions, such as trade shows and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
•Research and develop a thorough understanding of the Company’s people and capabilities and how this can benefit our potential clients
•Understand the Company’s goals and standards, in order to ensure the right clients are approached

Personal qualities
We are looking for a versatile BD Manager in KSA who has the following skills, experience and personal attributes:
•10 + years of business development experience at a senior level preferably in KSA
•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
•Essential strengths: networking, persuasion, prospecting, closing skills, sales planning, identification of customer needs and market challenges, in-depth market knowledge, territory management
•Ability to create and deliver business development strategies
•Experience in delivering growth targets
•Used to working within budgets
•Good knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and concepts
•Experience in developing and writing tenders and business proposals for potential projects
•Experience with estimating services/value engineering/scheduling/offsite technology and prefabrication
•Highly proficient in spoken and written English to deliver presentations to prospective clients
•Presentable appearance with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to work successfully in a multicultural environment
