Sodexo Oman (locally co-branded Sodexo|Socat) is in a good position to capitalize on developing 

segment opportunities within country and to fortify our current position as a market leading provider
of Quality of Life Services to E&R, Education, Healthcare and Government Services.
The role will focus on actively hunting, targeting, developing and responding to opportunities.
Working closely with segment and Middle East Business Development teams to align the local
business and capitalize on synergies and available resources.



As part of a dynamic team, your main responsibilities will be:



 Participate in the development of the country business growth strategy
 Identify new revenue-generation opportunities that enhance and promote our operations
 Establish a true business development approach and action plan to develop and promote


Sodexo’s business across target market segments
 Develop robust sales practices and develop a substantial and strategic pipeline
 Refine and customize proposal, presentation and marketing appropriate for the local market
 Answer to RFI, RFPs and participate to negotiations
 Establish the winning strategy for each tender
 Manage the technical organization of our responses, design solution in collaboration with


support departments, then collate the answers in a comprehensive solution for client
 Ensure site visits as well as the calculation and determination of the profit and loss account,


analysis of risks and opportunities
 Ensure successful communication and transition to operations
 Manage customer expectations and lead negotiations with clients
 Manage and build key relationships with existing and prospective clients
 Work with the existing team to ‘adopt’ existing relationships as part of a longer term


succession plan.
 Refine and ensure high quality tracking (CRM) and reporting implemented and followed



Profile:


 Relevant and demonstrable industry experience
 Over 3 years’ experience in Operations and/or Business Development roles with IFM and/or


industrial activities (catering, soft and hard FM)
 Previous Middle East Experience desirable but not essential
 Strong commercial management skills
 High level capability with Excel, Word etc. and ideally commercial CRM
 Ability to interface with management at all levels and cultures
 Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills
 Rigorous, methodical, process-oriented
 Fluent in English (high caliber written, spoken and presentation), Knowledge of


Urdu/Hindi/Arabic desirable
 Strong business relationship capabilities



Reporting to : GM Oman and SVP Head of sales and BD for ME
Location : Oman
