Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and assess emerging retail markets.
  • Develop and implement an expansion strategy for new hypermarket and supermarket locations.
  • Oversee site acquisition, lease negotiations, and property evaluation for new store openings.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams including construction, legal, and marketing to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage expansion project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of new and existing stores to optimize profitability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, real estate developers, and government entities.
  • Present data-driven insights and ROI analyses to senior management to support business decisions.

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, expansion, or retail real estate within hypermarket or supermarket chains.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple large-scale retail projects.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, strategic planning, and budget control.
  • Deep understanding of the UAE retail landscape and market dynamics.
