•Manage Sales & Marketing of the Business Unit, negotiate price.
•Independently managing the Profit & Loss of the Business Unit.
•Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
• Develop annual business plan for the Unit – Monthly & Yearly
•Implement high performance culture and develop the team
•Manage procurement of Key raw materials
•Manage Capex & procurement of capital equipment
•Develop and execute annual and long-term goals, strategies and objectives to fulfill the growth and financial return objectives of the company.
•Demonstrates strong financial acumen and experience in managing a business to financial metrics, statements and standards is required.
•Provide direct leadership to team, motivate, challenge and guide activities pertinent to quality, schedule reliability, cost and profitability and customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
•Manage Operations of the entire Business Unit / Plant etc.

•Lead and support partnership across operations and the enterprise to support the mutual success and achievement of company strategies, objectives and goals.
•Deploy all site operational initiatives; provide sales forecasts, staffing requirements, team building strategies and initiatives. Revise in accordance with results and adjustments as appropriate.

•Identify variances from budgeted wrt all performance KPIs and take corrective measures to exceed the budgeted numbers
•Conduct employee appraisal, develop SMART targets and objectives
•Analyze the Manpower requirements of the plant while balancing the safety, cost, impact on operations and protection of profitability.

Ideal Candidate should have Commercial experience in Sales & Marketing, Purchase, Operational experience in managing Production Units. Understanding of the commercial regulations. Sound understanding & experience in Calcium Carbonate industry. Independently managing the Profit & Loss of the Business Unit. Excellent management skills including manpower and scenario analysis, budget planning and forecast experience and a solid understanding of the business.


The Business Head shall have the authority to operate and manage the business operations on a day to day basis in accordance with the policies, resolutions, directives, enactments, ordinances and other decisions of the CEO & Board

Minimum 15 years’ in Sales & Marketing, Chemical manufacturing industry (Calcium Carbonate), minimum 5 years of work in heading a manufacturing unit & business independently
