· Lead the set-up of the accounting system of 6 new companies. Yearly budget above 200 M$.

· Participate pro-actively in the implementation of SAP / accounting system for the 6 new entities in collaboration with the SAP and Finance Expert

· Lead the monthly and yearly closure process

· Process of invoices. Analyze and follow-up on invoices in the workflow and ensure accuracy of posting in the accounting system (SAP) including the compliance with tax obligation (eg: WHT)

· Ensure that company rules are properly followed

· Lead the writing of all procedures linked to Accounting

· Participate proactively in the writing of all Finance-related procedures

· Ensure that taxes (income tax, WHT) filing are properly done and on time. Ensure that taxes are paid on time.

· Lead the implementation of VAT for all company entities. Ensure the entities complies with the law. Understand the impact of VAT.

· Work in team with 2 accountants based in Paris

· Actively participate in and support the budget and reporting exercises

· Take the lead in the statutory audits, partner / government audits

· Ensure compliance with SOX control, IFRS, Group Standard and contractual obligations

· Act as Treasurer, if required

· Act as Cost Controller, if required

Requirement:

· At least 10 year experience in a similar position if the candidate has a strong and proven track record. Otherwise, 15+ years of experience in accounting / finance required.

· Previous exposure to reporting, budgeting or cost control is a definite plus.

· Professional designation (Certified Accountants, Chartered Financial Analyst – CFA) is a plus

· Strong knowledge of SAP

· International dimension: close relationship with Paris Finance team required. Need to build a relationship of trust

· Important time constraints: months closures, year closures, reporting. Heavy workload expected during limited period of time. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
