Plan and improve systems and procedures to enhance the design, Engineering and maintenance quality standard and efficiency of the department.
Manage, execution, and supervision of work/projects including, review work requirements, issue work scheduling & approval of work programs, supervise contractor & approve work completion, random site inspections, and maintenance contractor evaluation.
Manage the Engineering Support Software Systems as per policy and strategic goals.
Communicate with senior engineers on engineering standards and procedures.
Investigate & Evaluate emergent technologies.
Investigate & Introduce industry best practice,
Manages the CM system activities that relates to data integrity and data uploads
Manages systems admins and provide guidance over the systems and their linked processes
Support the ESS section manager on the department budget planning activities, accruals and cost projections
Conducts review of the configuration management governance documents and advices where changes are needed
Develop data integrity & verification strategies
Drive process improvements through analysing bottlenecks in day-to-day business
Carry business process reengineering tasks when needed
Identify rooms of improvements in information management
Formalizes innovative solutions that includes machine learning, AI or blockchain to aid the business operations
Manage the Information System to enhance and improve the same for efficient use.
Fulfil all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations.
Implement and manage the whole Change Management Process on the Project
Analyse Change Requests for completeness, correctness, clarity and necessity. Ensure completeness, correctness, clarity of Change Requests before going to the Change Control board (CCB) in cooperation with the requester.
Facilitate CCB Meetings by explaining Change Requests, organising the CCB meeting, structuring the decision making.
Issue Change Orders after CCB Change Approval.
Ensure that Project Change Management is fully integrated with Contract Management
Ensure efficient, courteous and timely services to all employees requests and inquiries.
Ensure achievement of the quality objectives as set forth in the RTA and the department quality plan.
Ensure achievement of targeted results in each key performance areas as outlined in the plan.
Comply with the RTA s quality standards and requirements.
Comply with the RTA policy in respect to the Shareholders, Customer, Suppliers, Employees, and to carry out your duties and responsibilities as per RTA Code of Conduct.
Ensure all the environmental aspects in the area of responsibility are identified and actions are taken to ensure compliance with the QSEH standards.
Comply with the RTA applicable QSEH rules and procedures.
Promptly report all accidents and/or potential hazards.
Establish and Manage Configuration Management Database
Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
