- Explore Alibaba Cloud Africa market by establishing competitive partner network and acquiring key customers.
- Develop sound GTM plan, build pipeline, execute sales by coordinating internal (middle office, Product Team, PMO, GTS and other BUs) and external (partners, VCs, Accelerators and etc) resources.
- Build Alibaba Cloud Africa user community thru effective channels to maintain high visibility to the market and support business development.
- Organize online or offline events for African users and deliver Alibaba Cloud key products and solutions that fits the market needs.
- Train and enable partners in Africa about Alibaba Cloud unique value proposition and technical capability to support local sales and service.
- Education: Minimum of BA/BS degree in related field, advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA).
- 5+ years BD/Sales or relevant experience in Africa with good market and customer resource.
- Superior business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
- Great communication skills, team spirit, and a can-do attitude.
- Proven track record of results, demonstrated accountability for achieving individual and shared goals.
- Cloud computing related technical or industry knowledge is plus.
