Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of the Oil and Gas industry, specifically Oil and Gas EPCI and contracting
• Developing, owning and updating the systems, tools and intelligence that provide the key information, reports, presentations and other materia,l to the wider commercial and regional leadership team.
• Assist the Commercial Manager with driving the internal & external ‘Bid Capture’ process throughout the cycle, from ITT up to Contract Award, both procedurally, strategically and commercially with the focused objective of Winning-Work. Active integration with Proposals & Estimating (and other departments) as appropriate in terms of securing the essential inputs to ensure tenders address key drivers/objectives and includes MDR USP’s.
• Assist the Commercial Manager in the development and maintenance of client and competitor relations. A general awareness of global political and economic developments, as they pertain to Oil and Gas, will be expected.
• Preparation of high quality, detailed and extensive prequalification packages and the provision of assistance for the completion of SOI’s, RFI's, PQs, Capture Plans. Ad-hoc support will be required from time to time
• Ensure client and competitor intelligence (workload, awards, acquisitions/ disposals, etc.) is maintained and kept up to date with inputs from Commercial and Business Development Managers, project teams and others. Develop, own and continually update the regional competitor report and database, including all regional tier 1, 2 and 3 competitors.
• Provide commercial support to the communication team for the planning and attendance of industry conferences, exhibitions and networking events.
• Develop and update client briefing packs and company profiles for Senior Management client visits, and for general information.
• Potentially manage a team of 2-3 graduates, ensure they are given the correct guidance and development during their departmental rotation.
• Active integration with Strategy team colleagues to ensure strategic implementation objectives are achieved.
• Assist the Commercial Manager in the preparation and maintenance of a register of key business pursuits for the region, identifying the necessary zippering required
