• Responsible for managing and leading a team to deliver safe, optimal and environmentally sound electrical maintenance of the facilities.

• Co-ordinate with other discipline Maintenance Engineers, Operations In-charge, Supervisors and Plant Operators for smooth O&M of facilities.

• Responsible for uninterrupted operation (respective to electrical maintenance) of an oil, gas and produced water facility and shall work in day shift as well as 'on call' basis whenever required.

• Shall perform the maintenance works in a prudent, reasonable, and efficient manner.

• Provides specialized technical guidance and support in the troubleshooting and failure analysis of a wide range of electrical equipment in the plant such as diesel generators, motors, transformers, switchgear, distribution equipment, E-SCADA and control systems.

• Responsible for electrical maintenance works involving plant electrical and substation maintenance activities.

• Shall prepare the material requirement list related to the electrical maintenance.

• Assess the reliability of critical control packages and make recommendations for enhancement.

• Responsible for updating and maintaining all electrical related maintenance records of the facility.

• Responsible for following the client approved standard operations and maintenance procedures.

• Liaises with manufacturer's representatives as required to discuss and rectify any equipment deficiency during O&M period.

• Responsible for following the standard maintenance procedure (SMP) and safe maintenance practices.

• Ensures that all electrical maintenance services are provided safely and efficiently in accordance with internationally recognized engineering standards.

• Responsible for following up of preventative maintenance schedule.

• Ensures and optimize the equipment reliability.
