Within Hayy:Creative Hub, Art Jameel manages an arts centre, cinema complex, artists’ studios, events and learning spaces; the remaining half of the complex is given over to like-minded partners – including commercial galleries, architectural studios, fashion and design entities, performance and comedy clubs and cafes. This coordinator role involves co-managing Art Jameel’s own events, third-party rentals and co-produced events, and liaising with partners and tenants, to ensure smooth running and promotion of all events, across the complex, including managing a centralized calendar. The Community and Events Coordinator will also play a key role in planning, devising and running the events for the opening week of Hayy in the winter of 2020. Candidates should have knowledge and experience of project management; of assisting, coordinating and/or producing events, preferably in Saudi; and an awareness and some knowledge of communications strategies. A strong level of both Arabic and English is preferred.
