We are seeking a Culture Specialist to join the Strategy & Projects Group in the Management & Professional Development Department (M&PDD).
The Strategy & Projects Group handles M&PDD's strategy development and projects, delivering projects through a cross-functional lens in the areas of Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, and Talent and Innovation. On the strategy front, Strategy & Projects plays a central role in the development of M&PDD's strategy in response to talent and leadership challenges facing the Company, and in support of related business planning efforts.
The role of Culture Specialist is to provide functional expertise in the Culture Practice, including project management of projects delivered by the Culture Practice. The projects include several keystone (high-profile, high-impact) projects and several other projects in the areas of employee engagement, behaviors, performance culture, and more generically the broader culture change arena. Projects are delivered through a projects team who work in a scalable matrix structure across the Strategy & Project Group's Practices.
As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree would be preferred.
You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Culture, or related disciplines, including at least 5 years of experience leading advisory projects or engagements, either in an in-house advisory capacity or in an external consultancy. In addition, prior experience developing and implementing best-in-class interventions to address employee engagement issues would be highly valued, as well as the ability to engage and influence a diverse set of stakeholders ranging from frontline supervisors through to Corporate and Executive Management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Drive culture discussions Companywide and represent M&PDD in a variety of contexts as a leading subject matter expert on culture.
Manage a variety of Culture Practice activities, including project managing a variety of culture projects, ranging in size, scope, and impact.
Lead the utilization of allocated project resources in the execution of culture projects.
Engage with, and influence, a diverse set of stakeholders, including Corporate and Executive Management and internal customers.
Manage the relationships with, and delivery of, a range of internal and external partners and suppliers.
Contribute to M&PDD's journey to world class by researching and sharing best practices, keeping current with trends related to our mission, and undertaking selective thought leadership in the area of culture.
Be an exemplar in project management including a disciplined examination of business challenges and the development of locally relevant solutions, as referenced against global best practices.
Provide scheduled and ad hoc reporting on culture projects, including contributions to the department-wide dashboard.
