Generation programs are structured as intensive bootcamps ranging from 3 12 weeks. The programs offer students integrated technical, behavioral, mindset, and employment skills training, mentorship support and community services as well as job-placement support when they graduate.
Generation s programmatic approach includes operating 3 12 week bootcamp trainings for young adults to prepare them for employment in a specific profession. The Generation curriculum team designs curricula for the bootcamps across our countries and professions. Trainings are based on the technical and behavioral skills and mindsets specific to a given profession determined by our team s analysis. Technical and behavioral skills and mindsets are taught and practiced in an integrated way throughout the bootcamp training.
We are seeking a Curriculum & Instruction Lead to manage curriculum design and implementation for a large partnership across several countries in the Middle East region. You will work closely with our Global Curriculum & Instruction team to bring the methodology to life in this new partnership and geography. This role is suited for an experienced educational project manager who is excited to be at the cutting-edge of workforce development and to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, global environment.
The role is based in Dubai, with travel in the region (to include the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). Arabic fluency strongly preferred.

To be successful you'll need:
Mindsets & Experience
• Bachelor s degree required, preferably a master s degree
• Minimum of 5 years instructional design experience, including multi- week programs, based on needs analysis and active, practice-based learning experiences
• Minimum of 3 years of project management and team leadership experience
• Mastery of adult learning principles and experience designing instructional materials for adult learners (>18 years of age)
• Exceptional project management skills, managing many stakeholders and workflows on a tight timeline
• Success building and managing collaborative relationships
• Experience teaching and/or designing instructional materials for populations from different cultures, young adults aged 18-29 years old, and students facing barriers to employment
• Experience designing blended learning experiences
• Arabic fluency
• Excited by the idea of working in a fast-moving global environment
• Proactive collaborator, willing to propose solutions and ideas to challenges based on expertise, debate their merits, and make final recommendations for curriculum design
• Self-reflective and open to receiving and giving frequent feedback

What you'll do:
Curriculum development (60%)
• Engage key stakeholders within the partner organization to understand training priorities, timelines, implementation constraints, and resources to draw on (e.g., partner organization staff, existing materials)
• Lead the development of curriculum materials using the Generation methodology for a variety of professions, geographic contexts, and learner types. Conduct or provide support to junior team member for the following activities: design performance goals, conceptualize program architecture, sequence modules and learning sessions
• Ensure curriculum projects are executed on time, with the engagement of key internal and external stakeholders. Conduct and/or provide support to a junior team member in the following activities: assemble a team of internal or contract designers and subject matter experts, develop a project timeline, and solicit / respond to feedback from key stakeholders
• Review performance of training programs and ensure necessary revisions to curriculum are made
Instructional quality (30%)
• Building on Generation s global tools, establish instructional quality measures and reporting mechanisms
• Ensure instructors are identified, prepared, and supported in delivering Generation programs across multiple geographies (may include designing onboarding and train-the-trainer experiences)
• Directly manage dedicated country-level team members in delivering onboarding, training, and coaching to instructors
Partnership support (10%)
• Join business and partnership development conversations at all stages, in order to represent the Generation curriculum & instruction methodology
• Support the onboarding and training of new project team members (e.g., instructor coaches) to ensure they can represent Generation s curriculum methodology and implement programs with fidelity
Worldwide, more than 75 million young people are unemployed. But many employers can t find people with the skills they need for entry-level jobs. Generation was created in 2014 to help bridge this gap at speed and scale.
