- Responsible for achieving sales and distribution targets within an assigned territory, by effectively promoting, selling and ensuring proper visibility of the unit brands.
Perform duties in accordance with Malia Group Policies and Procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities
On Call Cycle and Target
1. Maintain proper area coverage and follow the call cycle as set while abiding by the steps of the call during the visit
2. Ensure excellent customer service by efficiently taking orders. Verify information such as the product, quantity ordered, price, and payment modality
3. Identify and establish contact with new potential customers and ensure proper exposure of brands
4. Request from supervisor cycle amendments upon client closure, new client activation and client potential
5. Courteously inform customers about out-of-stock products. Assist with substitutes when applicable by promoting and selling featured items
6. Build and maintain good relationships with POS decision makers and store merchandisers
7. Keep track on and achieve the monthly target by brand
On Budget Management
1. Spend properly assigned budget, targeting clients with potential, in a timely manner, at optimal location, while implementing brand guidelines and report any discrepancy to supervisor
2. Recommend corrective actions when needed to improve allocation of budget and ROI
On Merchandising and Visibility
1. Ensure that store shelves and off shelves are well maintained
2. Ensure proper matching of display and planogram while using efficiently the POSM
3. Make sure products are neat and clean at all times
4. Ensure proper execution of contracts and solve any discrepancy on spot. Escalate unsolved discrepancies when needed
5. Ensure proper and on time implementation of marketing initiatives and new product launch
On Stock Management
1. Avoid Out Of Stock and overstock situation by accurately assessing the clients storage space (back door) and capacity
On Receivables
1. Ensure customer has no unjustified unpaid dues before placing orders to avoid order blocking at credit level
2. Provide customer with the statement of account on monthly basis to avoid payment delays and conduct annual reconciliations
On Return Management
1. Ensure customers' acknowledgment on all contractual terms to avoid returns
2. Treat customer return request promptly. Inform sales supervisor upon return request and provide valid reason behind needed request
On Delivery
1. Investigate any delivery delay and solve all issues with concerned parties
On Reporting
1. Ensure timely reporting of the competitor initiatives, price fishing, achievement vs. target, challenges, opportunities & recommendations
