The security engineer is responsible for deployment, configurations, testing and maintaining security solutions and products. For Campus and data center security, we are looking for hands on experience professional with demonstrated skills in NAC solutions and application load balances and web access firewalls. This is a unique skillet which will distinguish the person.
Creates low level designs for NAC solutions
Implement sand test NAC solutions like ForeScout / Cisco ISE
Creates policy templates, authorization criteria, for device authorization
Tests all NAC workflows according to the use cases
Demonstrates knowledge of server load balancing techniques, types and performance attributes
Ability to guide and advise on load balancing techniques and profiling
Ability to create application profiling
Creates detailed designs for server/application load balancing
Implements and tests application load balancing technologies
Implements and tests Layer 7 Web Access Firewalls
Demonstrates knowledge of WAF and layer 3-7 protections
Knowledge of cyber threats, protection techniques against attacks on Layer 2-7
Knowledge of industry threats, vulnerabilities, patch and risk management
Knowledge of compliance standards like ISO, NESA, NIST, PCI-DSS, OWASP
Demonstrates knowledge of hardening standards and implements hardening controls best practices
Implements High Availability and DR configurations for security appliances
Creates SOPs and as built documents
Detailed technical knowledge of network security systems and devices
Experience with network technologies and with system, security, application and network monitoring tools.
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.
Adaptable to multicultural environments with problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure and demonstrate high IQ and EQ
Understands site redundancy, DNS technology and multi tenancy concepts
Implements F5 DNS, F5 ASM and F5 LTM in a production environment
Minimum 5 years of IT experience in one of the closely related field
Minimum 2 years of proven implementation / administration experience of NAC technologies like ForeScout is highly desirable
Minimum 2 years of proven implementation experience of DC technologies like load balancers and WAF, e.g. F5 LTM, F5-DNS, F5 ASM
Ideally the candidate will have experience of working in government environments
Consulting and implementation experience is highly desirable
F5 Certifications Highly desirable
Should be available in UAE (Work Location Abu Dhabi)
A bachelor’s degree
Also desirable are any vendor related professional certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, F5 etc.
