Major Activities

Technical Expertise and Project Model Implementation (45%)

In close coordination with the Early Childhood Development Coordinator, He/she will contribute directly to quality implementation of the ECD related components of the Technical Program including the Go Baby Go project model in his/her area.

Identify, plan and coordinate the training of Community Health Workers, Primary Health Care providers and targeted mothers in his/her Area targeted by the Early Childhood Development related project models.

Ensure timely and quality spending of the project activities in compliance with budget timelines and plans.

Prepare consolidated quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and end of reports required by internal, donor, government and interest bodies

Provide trainings and workshops to Community Health Workers such as assessment ,methodology, sharing assessment

Organize learning and sharing events

Supervise Community Health Workers in the zone and provide coaching, mentoring and continuous feedback

Ensure that all WV supported activities in the field of Early Childhood Development abide with WV Safeguarding and Child Protection policy.

Coordination and stakeholder Engagement (25%)

Ensure registration and meaningful participation of registered children in GBG project models in close cooperation with Early Childhood Development Coordinator, CESC Coordinator and/or officers.

Maintain strong working relations with local Clinics, Health Directorates, targeted mothers,CHWs and community stakeholders relevant to project model activities implementation.

In coordination with Early Childhood Development coordinator, attend local meetings relevant to project activities.

Contribute to a positive culture of learning and sharing in the Zonal office and beyond by actively and continuously engaging in learning event, technical expertise training ,..etc.

Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation (20%)

Support monitoring and communication in the implementation of their responsibilities, ensuring through timely sharing of planned activities, participation in the design of monitoring tools and implementation and reporting.

Support the Early Childhood Development coordinator in other duties relevant to the Early Childhood Development project model in the Area of operation.

Conduct programme monitoring with objectivity and efficiency, according to World Vision JWG s M&E system and according to World Vision International standards.

Ensure quality of data, including appropriate disaggregation, to enable AP measurement and a view of programming as it relates to girls and boys, men and women as well as the most vulnerable children.

Ensure all data is recorded in a timely manner

Measure and report on programme progress towards program targets

Implement assessment, baseline, and evaluation processes at the direction of relevant staff
Other (10%)
Perform other duties as requested by line manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Degree in social science, or related subjects to development or relevant years of work experience

Strong understanding of community-led development work

Creative and able to apply innovative thinking, partnership building and problem solving skills;

Strong facilitation skills, including catalyzing, connecting, and building the capacity of community groups

Good analytical and writing skills; Basic understanding of design, monitoring, and evaluation

Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity, abilities to work as a team.

Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a proper standard of English.

Computer literacy; Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum 3 years relevant experience, including at least one year of development facilitation in and with communities

Experience with program assessment, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation processes.

Experience with faith, community based and child focused empowerment programs.
Work Environment

Willingness to be flexible with hours when necessary and able to travel often in the field (75% of the time).

Position is based in Ramallah/Nablus
