Electrical Engineer / Automation Expert

Job Purpose:
To support equipment trouble shooting in all electrical failures in programs and software and other repairs. Responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed and daily shift reports aligned with PM Technician workshop if necessary on the same shift for added shared information. Familiarize all electrical spare parts with SAP code, make purchase request as needed and Preventive Maintenance order using SAP system. Achieve high efficiency, optimal productivity, with minimum or zero breakdowns and failures. Electrical safety owner
Responsibilities:
Safety
Maintain the safety of the team and ensure that safe work environment.
Quality
Ensure all the Quality compliance is met within the PM Scope.
Ensure that the PM activities are done on time in full.
Ensure the downtime / breakdown are to the minimum and the machine sustains the performance.
To assess work performance of every subordinate through evaluation grading system and some other endorsement records when required by the management.
Ensure the lines are always to the basic condition and upgraded regularly to maintain the state of the art.
Ensure the life table and spares are always available and updated periodically. Any changes communicate through change management.
Follow up on Machine Defects Elimination System.
Ensure the team with the specifications, targets, design standards, techniques and tools to support operations
Coach and train the staff to achieve maximum potential, capability and job flexibility.
Assure that the team addresses all relevant issues within the specifications and various standards and the immediate actions done.
Work with Line leaders and peers to obtain necessary resources to support the performance of the lines.

Required work experience and skills:
Experience in the same field for more than 3 years
Know how PCS7 technology, Siemens technology, Sinamics technology, profibus, asimon and profinet communication
Able to modify, download and configuration PLC software for Siemens step-7
Knowledge of computers and programs contained with Microsoft Office, SAP experience preferred
Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculation
Able to participate in a team-oriented environment, willingness to assist and train others
Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process
Able to work a flexible schedule, weekends before and after schedule as needed
Required educational qualifications:
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in electrical / mechanical required, Associates Degree Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Words, Excel, PP, Outlook, Etc )
Knowledge in Enterprises Resource Planning (SAP)
Other additional requirements / pre-requisites
Transferrable Iqama is must for KSA candidates.
