As an Engineering Supervisor, you are responsible for all maintenance and repair issues within the Resort, therefore must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, daily maintenance checks, and repairing equipment to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. An Engineering Supervisor will also be required to coordinate renovation projects. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsible for maintenance and repair issues within the resort.
Perform daily checks for guestrooms and around the resort.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment within the resort.
Ability to read blue prints and schematics is also required
Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers
Maintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Responsible for the health and safety of the resort.
Ensure monthly safety inspections take place and employees are trained accordingly
An Engineering Supervisor for the Six Senses Resort is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
Advanced knowledge of engineering
Excellent electrical, mechanical and carpentry skills.

Ability to work under pressure

Previous experience in a MEP management role
A minimum of 5-years hotel experience is required
To complete any other duty assigned to them by their manager/supervisor.
To arrive on time in full uniform in accordance with the company grooming guideline.
Domestic and regional travel may be required.
Standard workweek is Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Host expected and required to work weekends as needed and
evenings as needed to successfully execute role.
