Job Description & Role:
The Enterprise Architect leads the architectural disciplines within the EA Office. This individual provides leadership and directions related to all strategic planning, process, data, application, security, and infrastructure activities within the EA Office.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide directions and is accountable for planning and evaluation; change management; financial management; quality management and risk management, Human Resources management of the EA office.
Develop Enterprise Architecture Office budget requirements and seek approval on required budget to execute strategic initiatives and projects.
Provide input on the IT strategy and contribute to business strategy through the application of advanced knowledge of technical and management principles and practices.
Lead, supervise, coordinate, direct, train, motivate and appraise EA office staff.
Take responsibility for the combination of management functions such as program planning; policy formulation; organization coordination and control as well as fiscal and personnel management.
Identify technical solutions to business challenges through exploration of emerging technologies.
Develop cost and benefit estimates through delivering required justifications and evaluation of developed business cases.
Understand, execute, and enhance Enterprise Architecture processes, framework, and methods.
Maintain and take lead on the development of the architectures principles and standards.
Set the direction and requirements for solution architecture views and viewpoints.
Understand business strategy and high-level operations for the different business units.
Identify the logical technology components that support the business architecture.
Guide and lead the development of application architecture models.
Guide and lead data management including planning, organizing, governing and controlling information assets, resources, people and content repositories (document and data) as well as Master Data Management concepts.
Guide and lead the development of the infrastructure and security architectures.

15+ years of experience in IT architectures including applications, data, infrastructure and security architecture, development methodologies and implementation experience covering SOA, SDLC, Data Management, etc.
Management experience and preferably with certification in project management such as PMP, etc.
Exposure to professional standardization bodies such as IEEE, DAMA, NIST, etc.
Good understanding of financial systems and operational technology.
Good understanding of the client s business.
TOGAF 9 Certified Enterprise Architect certificate.
Bachelors in Computer Engineering or related field.
Master degree in Computer Engineering or related field is an added advantage to the position.
