Executive / Senior Executive – Logistics

Reports to (Position) : Asst. Manager - Supply Chain

DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVE
Implementation of supply chain strategy decided by management.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (KEY DELIVERABLES)
1. Collaborate with Sales, Product development and Customer Service teams
2. Order Management – Order Placement, Stock Maintenance, Follow up and coordination with suppliers for daily report generation of order status.
3. Identify current process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.
4. Ensuring for JIT shipments from suppliers in coordination with customers.
5. Strong existing connections with the shipping agents and transporters for GCC shipment handling.
6. Required to solve routine problems through general guidelines and setup check points.
7. Thorough knowledge of import & export formalities for shipments from China, Taiwan, Thailand and India and export to all MENA region.
8. You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a predetermined focused scope of work to provide constructive feedback to the management.

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
- Experience in handling global logistics especially from China, Taiwan, India and other East Asian Countries.
- Previous working experience as supply chain or logistics guy preferably in automotive sector for 3-4 Years.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Negotiation Skills is a must.
- Quick address to solve problems.
- GCC Logistics knowledge
- Knowledge Required:
- commercial knowledge
- Organization culture, philosophy and current imperatives.
- Functional processes and mandates of various departments.
- Good English language skill – written and oral

- Report Writing, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving and Decision Making

- Detail oriented.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
- Commerce graduate with international trade specialization.
- 3-4 years of experience in above areas.
- Knowledge of Mandarin (Chinese) is added advantage.
