Job purpose

• Develop sales of its range of products HVAC and Passive Fire Protection products, to consultants, designers, clients, and contractors

Main duties

• Develop and implement the market development plan for the company’s range of products for the defined regions.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify areas of sales growth
• Conduct sales and technical presentations to designers, consultants and contractors, end users focusing on the application of CVS products and educate the market, towards selection of CVS products.
• Use project intelligence and lead generation tools to identify prospects for products and conduct outreach to relevant parties to market CVS products.
• Analyze and establish best practices for sales growth via exports by developing logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping and deliveries.
• Develop a commercial organization structure to convert on opportunities identified in various countries via network of agencies for CVS products.
• Take initiative to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issues that slow down or hamper the export procedures and activities
• Develop export pricing structure in line with requirements of the sales targets and market viability.
• Generate quotes, proposals and sales offers for relevant parties and follow up issued quotes.
• Implement the margin protection guidelines ensuring optimum pricing.
• Provide monthly or quarterly report on orders/ volumes/prices/forecasting in line with company policies, procedures and guidelines for management review.
• Visit project construction sites for meetings where necessary.
• Assist in credit control policy implementation when applicable (LC or advance payment, CAD etc.).
• Assist, advice, and participate in the development of, and implementation of, agreed strategies to meet customer needs in various markets.
• Protect and develop the company’s reputation and brand in the markets served
• Develop, implement, track and report sales plan including strategies which firmly place the company as the supplier of choice in potential markets.

Skills/qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Marketing or equivalent.
• 5 years of progressive sales and operational experience in export sales focused on key HVAC markets.
• In depth knowledge of global HVAC dampers industry and other MEP products.
• Knowledge of international contract terms, foreign currencies, tariffs and trading regulations.
• Ability to analyzes the potential HVAC markets; understands the business environment of focused markets including competition, purchasing and business trends and develop
strategies to target them.
• Good communication and relationship building skills.
• Experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), CRMs.
• Ability to communicate in Arabic is an advantage – oral and written
• Foreign language skills.
• Must hold valid International Driving License.

• Thorough understanding of marketing, pricing and negotiating techniques

• Customer relationship management
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to travel frequently and on short notice.
• Good understanding of construction industry
