Number Of Students:

Student Make Up:
Fujairah is positioned on the east coast of the UAE peninsula a great location for fishing and diving. Fujairah is a quieter city but it still has a range of developing attractions for western expatriates; they boast a huge mall, Fujairah City Centre http://fujairahcitycentre.com/ , and the usual cinemas and hotels (and since 2000 a few bars) where drinking alcohol is allowed (all the hotels have bars within them). Hotels are a good place to enjoy the various sporting activities and beaches. Fujairah is just over an hour from Dubai by car (and there are buses as well) and it s close to the border of Oman. Unlike Dubai and Abu Dhabi which are mostly flat, Fujairah is mountainous and although still hot (with temperatures of about 20 degrees in winter and up to about 40 in summer) it does have a higher annual rainfall. Watersports (such as windsurfing, waterskiing, diving etc) are popular and apparently the city of Diba (about 30km away from Fujairah City) is the place to go for good sunny beaches, fishing etc). Being so close to Dubai many go there for weekend excursions or they head off to Wadis to hike and camp. Dibba is one hour north of Fujairah and although quieter does boast a number of hotel beach resorts and is closer to the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
