As General Manager you will manage the day to day leadership and direction of the hotel, maximizing on sales and revenue and driving financial returns. You'll take ownership of the development of your people, execute on brand standards and build awareness of the hotel and brand within the local area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee activities directly related to making products or providing services.
Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
Plan and direct activities such as sales promotions, coordinating with other department heads as required.
Determine goods and services to be sold, and set prices and credit terms, based on forecasts of customer demand.
Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, representing management in purchase negotiations.
Provide strategic direction to the departmental head s on the ongoing basis.
Conduct periodic review along with the departmental head.

Motivating the staff for multitasking job.
Supervise staff in term of manning.
Setting the standard operating procedure and check that all the team member for following that procedure.
Reviewing operational problems guest as well as staff.
Increase revenue by close monitoring of unit terms performance.
Evaluate the monthly P&L statement and provide an analysis of performance result.
Handling the day to day F&B operations.
Monitor and improve customer and staff satisfaction levels at outlet level to increase retention.
Responsible for developing, marketing, and promotional ideas to increase the sale.
Assuring all safety, security procedures are adhered to.
Significantly increased the profitability of the Company.
Actively worked on Client satisfaction tracking system for enhancing the satisfaction level of the Client through feedback collected regularly.
* Minimum 5 Years of experience in Hotel Operations in Dubai . Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration.
Five to ten years' of prior hotel management experience in Dubai/UAE, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience required may vary based on size and complexity of operation.
Strong communication in English and Arabic preferable.
