Job Title: General Practitioner
Timings: 6 days a week (except Fridays) 8 hours per day
Requirements-
• DOH registration.
• Background in Primary Health Care (General Practice/Family Medicine) with relevant specialist qualification, or General Medicine specialist qualification (i.e. experience in Chronic Disease management, Preventive Medicine, health screening).
• Experience in emergency medicine preferable
• Ability to perform history taking and physical examination.
• Ability to interpret routine laboratory findings and provide appropriate clinical advice.
• Ideally experience dealing with VIP clients or private practice. Needs to understand not all the blood tests/screening is evidence-based on a population level, but that these clients want this.
• Flexibility with regards to work hours.
• Excellent communication skills (English language) including experience consulting through an interpreter. Evidence of written report writing skill also ability to give verbal presentations to clients.
• Female preferable but not essential
Job description:
• Accompany nursing team to administer vaccinations at home to clients
• Assessment, advise and take consent from clients prior to vaccination
• Be present to manage potential adverse effects (serious or otherwise)
• Ensure protocols are adhered to by all staff at all times
• Accompany nursing team to take samples from clients at their homes for multi-omics analysis
• Administer questionnaire and record basic clinical measurements
• Interpret results and collate report
• Provide feedback to client and his / her personal physician
