A) Job Mission:
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the compliance of operations to the MLS standards for safety, quality, documentation, cleanliness. Responsibilities include meeting with managers, auditing operations and sites, visiting customer sites during deliveries to audit customer interaction, and delivering training programs (mainly technical with coordination with Group HR for soft skills).
His main objectives are to support functions that can deliver products and services to customers in a standards compliant manner.
B) Job Responsibilities:
Develops and delivers MLS safety development plan.
Responsible for proper planning, coordination, and execution of audits for MLS operations and sites, inspecting for health and safety, cleanliness, quality, security and standard operating procedures compliance and provides reports and recommendations for improvement to senior management.
Responsible for the proper planning, coordination and procuring of maintenance services for sites and assets (excludes transportation assets, unless requested by transportation manager to procure the services from third parties).
Develops and implement a risk management plan.
Maintains a register of compliance activities and results, including investigation outcomes.
Defines performance metrics for audits and evaluations.
Reviews activity reports, financial statements and other information to ensure financial goals are achieved.
Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members and staff members as necessary.
Determines staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
Manages, motivates, develops and leads members of the Quality Management Team.
Develops financial budgets for the Division he oversees.
Disseminates written policies and procedures related to compliance activities, working with operations director and subordinates to develop and improve.
Verify that all MLS activities and regulatory policies and procedures have been implemented, documented, and communicated.
Develop the guide lines to clarify the key responsibilities and practices to ensure the team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership and teamwork to achieve business results.
Ensure the implementation of Company programs, procedures, methods and practices to promote ATS key messages and achieve a competitive advantage.
Ensure the alignment of the company best practice and initiate the development plan based on the outcome of PDR and Career Development Plan.
Ensure performance review with line manager on quarterly bases and agree on action plan.
PDR for the Team: Team up with the HR partner to prepare and timely submit PDRs’ for all Team members, and ensure process completed on time as company communication and direction.
Organization & People Development:
Development (Coaching & Training): Identify Team training needs and work with his Team and HR to ensure skills gapes are covered through systematic coaching and training courses & on the job coaching
Building Team Talents: Build Area pool of talents to allow for promotions from within and to supply the organization with capable Sales Managers, Supervisors & front lines.
Team Building & Work Environment: Create/Maintain a vibrant, engaging and celebrative culture that deliver business excellence and promote personal learning & development and enhance company’s’ values within each individual.
