Location - Crowne Plaza Duqm is 8kms from the town centre and 600kms from Muscat, the hotel offers comprehensive business facilities with interpretation of Omani architecture. This hotel features 213 deluxe rooms and suites overlooking the scenic coastline, fully equipped fitness centre with kid's and adult's pools, choice for conference and meetings, also features two ballrooms, etc.
Your day to day
As a wellbeing / Employee relations coordinator you will be reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager or Assistant. we expect employees of all fields to have a keen eye for detail and aesthetics to some extent and this quality must reflect in the work that you do. Here at our hotel, honesty is very much recognized and appreciated and never goes unnoticed.
Your core responsibilities will include the following:
Arrange and ensure all employees' medical reports are completed as per requirements of local labour laws.
Provides primary health service to all Hotel staff and guests alike.
Inspect and ensures First Aid Boxes are adequately stocked on a regularly basis.
Inform Management of any unusual diseases and major accidents, while maintaining records of all such cases.
Ensure adequate supply of necessary prescription medicines in in-house Clinic
Ensure medical department is clean, neat, tidy and hygienic at all times
Visit employees when admitted to Hospital.
Ensure that all Food Handlers certificates are up-to-date and renewed well before its expiry.
Liaise and cooperate with local Public Health Department on relevant matters.
Regularly observes employee restaurant's meal quality and sanitation/hygiene practices of employee and gives immediate feedback to appropriate individuals to ensure maintenance of highest standards
Assists in planning / organizing colleagues welfare activities
What we need from you
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar capacity will be an advantage. You must also be certified in the field of Nursing.
Must be energetic
Has high attention to details
Willing to work on weekends or extended duty hours if the need arises
