Job title: Help Desk Specialist
Line Manager: Help Desk Administrator

Job purpose
Work on operating Computer networks of the company, and various sites properly, maintain computer systems, devices and its accessories in addition ensuring to achieve the optimal performance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Define problems of information technology and maintain daily operation and maintenance of information technology processes or elements strictly and timely to guarantee the regularity of works.
Find out devices and programs errors, and work on solve it, notify cases when necessary or consult one of the specialized administrations (networks or systems) and follow up to solve it.
Enter data on the system of help desk (ticketing system) to ensure that user can report the problems which he faced at the proper time. He shall record and document the results in order to solve the similar problems later.
Check programs that were uploaded on all over the company to guarantee smoothly operating and make amendments and take the necessary corrective actions.
Create a restoration and backup copies for the system, in accordance with the company standards and procedures, at the end of each working day, to avoid the risk of destroying, damaging or losing data.
Train personnel on the proper use of Data base system and specialized applications, in coordination with the system administrator.
Install of new computers and upload programs and applications, according to help desk administrator directions.
Prepare purchase orders of computers and accessories as work needed then submit it to line manager including suggested suppliers.
Prepare list of storage includes monitors, keyboards, hard disk drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other annex hardware and guarantee to save it.
Prepare daily report about breakdowns, procedures, obstacles and proposed solutions and submit it to line manager.

Bachelors of communication engineering or Bachelors of Computer and Information
Training programs:
Training courses at information technology.
Experiences
At least 3 years of experience in information technology.
Technical competences
English fluency.
Awareness of the new development of information technology.
