Housekeeping Team Member
To a be a passionate brighthearted host in all areas of the hotel and b) ensure that all assigned housekeeping duties are executed efficiently and in line with policies and standards.
What will I be doing?
• Execute duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Mgr, Housekeeping Supervisor or General Manager
• Be a reliable member of the Housekeeping team and a collaborative colleague whose passion for hosting can be observed every day in all areas of the hotel
• Execute cleaning duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor with max level of skill, knowledge and commitment
• Organise the assigned work area to be able to execute assigned housekeeping tasks effectively & efficiently, to the required Clean Stay, brand and hotel standards
• Wherever time allows be a great host and engage with guests to seek their feedback and provide a brighthearted guest experience
• Be familiar with our Clean Stay Standards and Procedures and dutifully apply them
• Be aware of planned housekeeping team meetings, learning sessions and hotel huddles and attend as required
• Participate positively in pre and post service briefs and apply learning the next day
• Communicate clearly and constructively between Housekeeping colleagues, Guest Service and Maintenance team to help deliver great brighthearted guest experiences
• Provide constructive suggestions to the Housekeeping Manager on product, HSK procedures or gathered guest feedback
• Be open to acquire new knowledge and skills in areas such as guest service, stewarding, kitchen or maintenance to be able to potentially provide support to these departments and at the same time improve chances of a faster career progression
• Be a role model for others in regards to passionate, friendly guest service in line with HGI brand values and brand personality behaviours.
