Reporting to the HR Director, you ll be the custodian of all company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance to the UAE Labor Law, including creating and delivering training where needed. You will be the driving force in ensuring an effective delivery of HR Services, supporting the business with recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, safety and welfare, and managing HR Information Systems.
You will enjoy learning how each role supports delivering the company vision, and apply that learning on sourcing & hiring strategies to hire the right talent.
A major focus of the role is day to day management of HR operations including the employee lifecycle, onboarding including coms, visas, travel, inductions, supporting with HR policies including performance and succession planning through to managing any team member exits.
This role also is hands on in accommodation including coordinating and managing pest controls, audits, room movements, furniture & repairs, linen, room allocation and so on.
Often no two situations are alike, therefore you will be inquisitive, quick to understand and be able to apply knowledge and you won t stop until the problem is solved.
A confident collaborator you will have strong relationships with business leaders and love to multi task while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You enjoy working at a pace and thrive under pressure but always have a smile, patience and time to listen and help others.
Requirements
• 3 years experience in an HR Generalist / Talent Acquisition role
• UAE experience in a hotel industry preferred
• Strong competency interviewing and selection skills
• Experience in advising and managing grievance and disciplinary investigations.
• Experience of engagement with Senior Leaders with confidence and credibility
• Experience in drafting and implementing policy and procedures
• Knowledge of best practice in specific HR areas recruitment and selection, absence management, capability, disciplinary and grievance, etc.
• Proficient in UAE Labor Law
• Must have a UAE Driving license and own car
