Job Description
• Monitors work progress on maintenance request orders.
• Ensures any preventive maintenance scheduled.
• Monitors all plant operations i.e. HVAC & Refrigeration and Electrical system
• Supervises and monitors any installations taking place
• Ensures environmental control of guest comfort during his shift
• Arranges for equipment installation for functions
• Assesses materials and / or spare parts required and inform the supervisor/DOE for purchase requisition.
• Monitor deliveries from suppliers and ensures correct storing procedures.
• Assists supervisor by collecting data required for monthly reports.
• Ensure implementation of all energy conservation programs as per the DOE.
• Check all operation working smoothly i.e. HVAC-Refrigeration, Electro-Mechanical.
• Keep record of all equipment on daily and monthly basis.
• Update the supervisor/DOE all operations.
• Doing the daily, routine and preventive maintenance of AC and Refrigeration system and equipment
• Keep full record of spare parts and update the supervisor about full record of Spare parts and update DOE about requirement &usage well before The actual use.
• Keep all tools in good working condition.
• Plans new or modified HVACs and refrigeration to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring and meet local buildings codes.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles HVAC ductwork.
• Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps in order to repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Connects HVAC and refrigeration wiring to household power supply.
• Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and thermostats in HCAV and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects, trouble shoots, and maintains HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Performs any routine maintenance to the facilities refrigeration equipment.
• Repairs or replaces any faulty, hazardous, or broken HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Assists on projects such as HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Participates in the weekend on-call schedule and responds to calls in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
HVAC and refrigeration Technician Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility, and two years of HVAC and refrigeration training and/or experience, or combination of both.
