Essilor is a French company that produces ophthalmic lenses along with ophthalmic optical equipment.
The position is based in Essilor affiliate in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Job offer : In-store journey & Go to Market Shopper Excellence Manager META ( Middle East Turkey Africa)
Report to : Direct: Marketing Director META
Key Accountabilities and Objectives
• Trade & promotional Material:
• Drive & Improve META execution visibility in store Optician store focus
• Lead right standards of processes to drive in store excellence when it comes to commercial actions & Promotions (S&OP process META / Implementation guidelines / POSM execution)
• META promotion ROI initiative with Pre & Post Evaluation to build efficiency and stronger pool of Learning & Sharing / Leading with both country finance & marketing team
• Consumer Analysis & Insight
• Drive both ECPs and Consumer understanding to win in store (Ad hoc or continuous Survey / Studies) to adapt/adjust learning into key actionable plans to influence purchase final decision
• Be able to translate multiple and complex data points into simple effective implementation plan with countries
• Project and change Management
• Accelerate Key commercial agenda of AMERA/ META with regards to Multi Pair offer mechanism, be able to influence, federate and drive commercial approach changes in these markets.
• Guardian of tools optimization & in store tool deployments META (Seamless rigorous implementation and acceleration)
• Improve measurement / Tool used by ECPs to tell a story and better sell / tools that are consumer led to crack the purchase decision)
• Go to Market Strategy & Development
• Drive the right Go-to-Market strategy for META, Taking into account LOB (Layer of business), market tearing segmentation
• Sets up regular meetings/calls with local country managers to align on priorities .
• Prepare monthly performance report and business reviews .
• Set up key KPI s tracking with markets to monitor actions & business progress
Key Competencies
Technical skills
• Min 7-10 years of management of Trade Marketing, In-store excellence in BtoC or BtoB environment
• Strong Commercial & Trade marketing technical skills, acquired in companies with reputable good footprint.
• Good with numbers, excel and PowerPoint
• English Fluent. Arabic & French are a plus
Soft skills
• Entrepreneur skills & Mindset, strong team player.
• Strategic thinker / forward thinking.
• Good understanding of customer & consumer needs.
• Ability to learn fast and manage highly technological products in a complex environment.
• Strong, ethical and empathic personality
• Capacity to lead without day to day direct guidance from line management
• Accuracy, time management, efficiency, ability to prioritize projects.
• Good communication skills, ability to prepare and deliver clear presentations.
• Ability to innovate and be creative.
• Ability to travel overseas

• FMCG Industry Preferred, Optical or health Care
