The IT Executive report to Finance Manager and the position is responsible for the monitoring of IT expenses as per approved budget, process IT purchases, select and coordinate with IT vendors
The IT Executive is responsible for updating all operating systems and software, ensure frequent training and retraining of staff in the use of IT systems and software.
This position liaises with Tech vendors in developing and managing in-house software/apps
Key Result Areas
Setting up IT infrastructure
Managing employee inquiries relating to email, software and hardware components
Liaising with Tech vendors in the development and management of software/apps
Managing the Group s ERP, information storage, back up and updates
Assess IT requirement from each Division and support the, in preparing IT budget
Review IT expenses against budget and coordinate with Finance Manager for cost reduction measures
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems in Bin Hendi Group
Ensure that BHE is equipped with the required hardware and software which is current and suitable for business needs.
Review IT related purchase requisitions, and coordinate with the Procurement Officer for processing the PO
Follow up with suppliers for IT deliveries and inspect all IT deliveries for exceptions
Escalate all exceptions in the IT system to the Finance Manager
Liaise with Tech vendors in developing apps to support Bin Hendi Group s products
Design, install, upgrade, configure, and repair local and wide area network hardware and infrastructure.
Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all server & user end backups.
Constantly monitor system performance
Update BHE website as and when required
Collaborate with IT vendor for CRM/ERP installation, updates, and maintenance
Receive and process users request internally or through an approved 3rd party
Effectively develop and implement IT disaster recovery plan within budget
Keep an inventory of hardware and maintenance records.
Conduct periodic IT inventory, asset tagging and alert the management for disposing or replacing IT systems
Induct and train new staff on software, Apps, and IT policies.
Receive and resolve user complaints and requests
Handle system troubleshooting; replace failed hardware and address software problems.
Inventory Management and Student/Staff support:
Maintain inventory of all hardware and network devices using the IT register
Perform a routine audit of systems and software

The employee is required to submit a notice in writing to the attention of company management of any matter that employee would consider to be a violation of employee's rights or any other matter. That written notice must be submitted within thirty (30) days from its alleged occurrence to make the employer aware of the matter and correct it. If an employee fails to provide timely notice, then the employee hereby acknowledges waiving the right to raise that same alleged violation against the company before any court any time during and after employment, and employee hereby waives the right to recover monetary damages in any proceeding he may bring before any court in relation to that alleged violation.
