We are looking for Internal Sales Engineer

Main Purpose of the Role

To prepare Technically and Commercially clear quotes and process orders to generate business and ensure margins are achieved + increase business of customer account Sabic as a External Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role (max. 6 key tasks + leadership task)

To prepare technically and commercially clear quotes

Receives and records customer enquiries and orders in Axapta

Prepares sales quotation in Axapta with the help of a configurator containing all the technical and commercial details offered to the customer based on enquiries

Ensures that the quotation is submitted by bid closing date or 4 days from the date of receipt of enquiry, unless otherwise mentioned by the customer.

Communicates the sales order number to the customer that signifies that their order is received and booked

Creates work orders if in-house production is involved

Order is released for production only after getting the approval from the customer

Reviews to ensure that any requirements stated by the customer are compatible in accordance to CSA/ATEX, statutory and regulatory requirements – prior to processing the enquiry or order. Any special requirements are updated using free text

Ensures that the payment terms, delivery period, insurance, warranty, country of origin, certificates, LD or penalty and other requirements are as per customer requirements. Communicates to the customer regarding any deviation in the customer requirement or features that cannot be included

Marks the customer order in the system as order under clarification in Axapta for the orders that require
document/drawing approval from the customer. Discusses with production managers and external providers if the specification provided by the customer requires additional engineering/modifications.

Conducts kick off meeting for all orders above US$ 33,000

Sends the enquiries to factory for price and specification, for those that are not decodable or which are not priced eg. Repairs and items for production

If required, arranges customer inspection and informs related charges if applicable

Maintains the evidences of review in the form of emails to the customers, production managers and external providers for clarifications

Coordinates with the Quality Manager on customer complaints. Communicates all the corrective actions to the customers wherever applicable

Develops, leads and executes sales strategies

QA to customer

Sending PO to suppliers

Coordinating with suppliers on NCRs

To resolve any technical queiries arise on quotes and ensure to convert the quote into order with assistance of external sales/ supervisors

Responsible for selection and evaluation of external providers based on selection/ evaluation criteria

Generates the purchase order based on customer’s order or purchase requisitions with Wika group companies or external providers. The purchase order shall include specifications, price, delivery terms and other related information

Enter the purchase order in Axapta system within 3 working days from the receipt of technically and commercially clear order from the customer. Save the customer purchase order copy in the sales order file in Axapta

Reviews the Non Conforming Product Report raised by warehouse/ QC

Track and report key functional metrics to improve purchasing

Meet KPI set and improve further

Liaise with clients in a professional manner and when required provide technical solutions

Knowledge of Measurement ( Pressure, Temperature, Level, Flow/Force)

Responsible for Purchasing, coordinating supplier selection and evaluation
