To carry out information technology (IT) risk assessments, IT and cyber security audits and IT consulting assignments as instructed by Senior Auditors, under the direction of the Audit Manager.
Conduct independently and/or assist (as required) Senior Auditors in:
Perform preliminary surveys of assigned audit areas and flow charting systems and processes;
Apply audit techniques to a variety of operations to establish the effectiveness of existing controls, and identifying the residual risk where controls are inadequate or absent;
Prepare audit work papers according to professional standards to record audit activities and substantiate identified audit findings;
Prepare audit reports/memos documenting findings and recommending ways to resolve identified weaknesses to safeguard against their re-occurrence.
Perform special audit assignments as required;
Perform follow-ups of audit findings identified in previously issued audit reports.
Perform any other task or work requested by the Department Manager
Educational Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Information/Cyber Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related field
Preferred qualification such as CISA, CISSP or CISM.
Previous Experience required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in providing IT audit and assessment services.
