Submit and follow up on requests for system enhancements and system defect resolution in order to ensure the fulfilment of system requests.
Business Application Administration
Act as the local expert of the core business applications; solve any related user queries via system analysis within the corporate guidelines or forward complex issues to the corporate IT for prompt remediation.
Ensure effective implementation of change requests to facilitate changing business operations.
Lead the provision of end to end system administration services for the Med Net to facilitate uninterrupted business operations.
Ensure that all business applications, networks, access control devices and hardware are operated and maintained cost effectively and meet agreed level of service standards for user and business needs.
Lead the implementation of standards, protocols for data exchange, communications and interconnection of information systems as per established corporate IT guidelines and thereby ensure the maintenance of an information technology environment which provides a high performance computing framework.
Lead the development of small scale in house application development to support the local operations, ensuring compliance with corporate IT standards.
Help Desk and Support
Develop and maintain formal procedures for providing support to all IT users in order to ensure timely and efficient resolution of all IT and communication related issues.
Lead the provision of reporting assistance to external clients (insurance companies) to facilitate IT operations in accord with Munich Health standards.
Liaise with all Med Net group companies in the event of regional projects in order to ensure effective execution of initiatives in accord with quality and corporate guidelines.
Manage various IT hardware & software projects in all project stages in order to ensure project objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the regional Munich Health s website in order to ensure continuous, effective and seamless communications to facilitate achievement of organisational objectives.
Together with Med Net group counterparts, participate in the introduction of best practices in System Implementation initiatives in order to upgrade the functionality and provide improved support for achievement of business objectives.
Oversee the implementation of an effective and robust back up and security systems to safeguard and protect all IT operations while ensuring optimum mitigations of IT related risks and the reliability / integrity of data.
Participate in defining, implementation and testing of the efficacy of disaster recovery procedures so that systems can be reinstated in a timely and integral manner in the event of a disaster scenario.
Participate in the implementation of appropriate security measures for Applications in order to ensure data and asset protection.
Identify, select, evaluate and manage hardware, software vendors and consultants as necessary in order to obtain a high quality and cost-effective service.
Negotiate the initial deal terms and Service Level Agreements ensuring protection of Munich Health s interests and receipt of optimum level of services to facilitate operations.
Attend and participate in the vendor selection to review and approve the quotations, timeframe, costs, functionality, quality assurance, user satisfaction in order to meet the user requirements in accord with corporate IT policy standards.

Ensure the maintenance of IT hardware, software and equipment to the required standards and users are provided with support to resolve operational problems timely and efficiently.
Recommend network architecture, applications and system capacity requirements to facilitate effective operations of the organisation.
Manage and advise the IT staff on software, hardware and user support requirements in order to ensure IT systems are tested and are defect free as per quality assurance standards.
Monitor and analyse organisation wide IT training needs to provide appropriate training provision so that all employees have the required IT user capability to enable delivery of business objectives.
Motivate subordinates and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and system administration systems, processes and practices taking into account international leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Recommend improvements to departmental policy and manage the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of IT activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment
Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, compliance, delivery of high quality products/ service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Supervise the preparation of IT system reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Munich Health policies and standards, and department requirements.
Develop and implement appropriate IT data management and reporting systems in order to ensure effective control of IT inventory and effective reporting on IT service provision.
