Title : Jr. Accountant (Parent/Spouse Sponsored)
Location : Dubai
Salary : AED 4.5- 5.5K

Position Responsibilities
• Provide accounting and administration support to the team.
• Prepare Payment, Receipt and general journal vouchers, as instructed.
• Post all Receivables and Payables on a daily basis.
• Book all vendor invoices in accounts payables and issue payments from there.
• Perform monthly reconciliation for regular vendors, to be reviewed by AM.
• Prepare weekly and monthly Petty Cash and Bank reconciliations, to be reviewed by AM.
• Coordinate with Vendors, Clients, etc. on all payments (directly or indirectly).
• Assist with VAT filing and related documentation to ensure strict compliance to the local regulations.
• Manage the manual filing of all Finance documents, including VAT returns.
Position Requirements
• Proven accounting experience, preferably with similar responsibilities.
• Adequate qualification B.Com. preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Competency in MS Office (esp. MS Excel), accounting software.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Well organized.
• Willing to challenge the current system and be pro-active to change.
Assist FM on ad hoc projects to analyze and improve current process to bring in more efficiency within the department.
