Prime responsibilities and duties

Key Responsibilities of Junior Sales Engineer:

Retain existing and establish new customer contact
Expand Customer Data Base and to follow up with Existing Customers in MENA & Sub Continent Region.
Retain existing and establish new customer contacts
Process inquiries, prepare tenders and track projects
Acquire and handle customer orders
Take care of intensive customer- and target-oriented marketing
Continuously monitor and analyze markets
Assume responsibility for our contract management
Promote our Steel Foundations product (Sheet Piles, Trench Boxes, Trench Sheet, and others) to Contracting
companies or to Piling Companies
Ready to travel to meet customers across the region and to visit sites for regular inspection of materials wherever supplied
Will be a part of team of 3 people, reporting to the Foundation Solutions Division Manager.

Qualifications:

Preferably a Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering graduate
Or with an experience working for a piling/shoring company
Focus on enhancing client loyalty

Who are you

3-6 years’ experience in a related field
Technical university degree in Civil or mechanical engineering
Professional sales experience and market knowledge of the steel industry
UAE driving license required
Excellent oral and written communication skills, must be coherent, articulate, concise, and consistent. with a flair for
marketing.
Multiple languages known will be an advantage
Negotiation skills and persuasiveness
Customer-focused, highly ambitious personality, who is eager to develop new markets and customer relationships
Significant independent working methods and a high level of personal initiative
Capacity and willingness to travel
Good knowledge of International trading working concepts: Incoterms, International trading, payment types in
international trades
Knowledge of steel products would be preferred. (Preferably Carbon steel)
Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good command of MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Power point, Outlook)
Experience working with people of different backgrounds and a high level of cultural competency
The ability to juggle and track multiple tasks, projects and responsibilities
Proactive, Independent, reliable with superb organizational and managing skills
Discreet, with sensitive and confidential information
Efficient and effective in the execution of action plans
Strategic with ability to make decisions and judgments as needed by the organizations
Demonstrated commitment to the success of co-workers and to the organizational mission
