Lab Community & Events Coordinator

Key Purpose
Lab Community & Events Coordinator supports community and Innovation related events & programs, coordinate and supervise community initiatives. He/she will be responsible for the execution, servicing and detailing of assigned Innovation ecosystem events or activities, external and internal for the innovation community of the organisation.
Key Job Accountabilities
• Assists in planning, monitoring and/or managing budget in functional area of department/ or one project
• Create and manage quarterly agenda for various Innovation event activities both external and internal for Injazat around the topic of Innovation and related to relevant technology verticals.
• Ensure all requirements of workgroups are met to provide perfect working conditions including food and beverage, collaboration tools and equipment, room booking allocation and technical requirements. Coordination with maintenance and administration in head office to ensure full functionality of the lab at all times
• Partner and collaborate with DBX team in their day to day interactions in the lab,conduct all inductions & on boarding for DBX team members & clients visit of the exhibition space.
• Support the Innovation Ecosystem team in delivering innovation activities on request of DBX team by scheduling and coordinating external interventions, influencers, coaches or knowledge expert. Ensure connection between Lab space and innovation ecosystem team using various communication tools. Plan, schedule and organize live or virtual Start-up demos or pitches for the Innovation teams.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree - Field of study (if applicable): Like, BCA Computer Engineering
Minimum Experience
• 3-6 years of proven IT events experience
Job Specific Skills
• Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures with ability to apply in routine situations
• Local market knowledge preferred
