Responsibilities
• Own the development of conceptual, user requirement, functional and detailed technical design specifications and provides technical leadership, support and broad technical expertise for multiple disciplines.
• Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, and budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
• Participates and leads all the project tasks Project Kick Off, URS, Infrastructure setup, FDS, DDS, FAT, SAT, Training, Project commissioning, Go Live activities and support to onsite/resident support team.
• Participates in FEED studies, Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, Conference Room Pilot (CRP) activities, Proof of Concept (POC) for project prioritisation and solution design
• Executes work assignment to appropriate Honeywell project engineering standards and quality systems (Design, Implementation, Test & Documentation). Deploys standard processes, tools and methodologies in project delivery
• Issue work packages, test for quality, & supervise progress of local & or remote project engineering groups, 3rd Parties, Development and R&D groups for successful project delivery.
• Prepare the test plans, be responsible for the site & factory installation, & testing activities to ensure acceptance and acquire signoff from the customer.
• Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering/ product development group. Regularly identify & communicate risk in the project and prepare mitigation plans.
• Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other disciplines.
• Supports Project Management team on project schedule preparation for MES projects. Proactively identify recovery & schedule optimization strategies to improve the schedule and project efficiency.
• Reports progress and technical problems to project and engineering manager/team leader.
• Provide support to aftermarket services that continually align Honeywell project & support services with a long-term customer road map and vision, ensuring that Honeywell is able to leverage talent and capability across geographies & poles and ensure regular tracking of status & deliverables
Qualifications
• Over 7 years, hands on application/integration experience implementing MES Projects in multiple disciplines including but not limited to Inventory Management, Yield Accounting/Reconciliation, Movement Management, Planning & Scheduling, Asset Management / Reliability, Enterprise Historians, Reporting & Visualization and Integration tool such as BizTalk.
• Strong Programming/analytical, troubleshooting & and problem-solving skills, quality oriented, logical & detailed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong team player able to work optimally with customers, multidisciplinary project teams and other departments within the company.
• Ability to work independently with little mentorship from supervisor
• Customer orientation and passionate about delivering quality and timely outcomes from a client s perspective;
• Candidates with prior experience in SQL and one or more Programming Languages (.Net, VB, C#, etc) would be helpful.
• Bachelor s Degree in computer science, Chemical, or Computer Engineering
• Proficiency in Arabic language is helpful
