Our Client, one of the largest Petrochemical company in Kuwait is currently recruiting for Maintenance Inventory Coordinator based in Kuwait for long term contract. Candidate should be available in Kuwait with TRANSFERABLE VISA and can join on short notice.
Purpose:
• To manage Maintenance Repair and Operating Supplies (MRO) at a Site and/or Global level in order to facilitate the continuity of operations.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Managing Repair and Operating Supplies
• Handle reservations and backorders for MRO inventory items, as well as analyze, re-establish, and execute MRO inventory replenishment and set up new items for inventory in order ensure appropriate management of repair and operating supplies.
• Material Reservation/Requirement Analyzing Skills.
2. Replenishment
• Set up appropriate MRP strategies and ensure material availability based on criticality, lead time and price in coordination with Reliability/DAS/End user.
• Manage inventory re-order levels as per management directives/best practice in the industry.
3. Surplus Materials
• Identify and analyze surplus/obsolete materials in order to initiate investment recovery process
4. Reports and Records
• Maintain MRO inventory records and generate data and reports for users in order to facilitate relevant and informed decision-making.
• Provide Monthly Inventory Reports with Stock Issues, Receipts and Returns
• Provide Annual physical count audit Status and Support MRO Warehouse team for finding root cause for discrepancies, if any.
• Provide slow moving and non-moving items reports on an annual basis using the established criteria.
5. Troubleshooting
• Offer the required initiatives in order to provide technical solutions to MRO material related issues.
6. Standardization
• Facilitate material standardization such as maintaining accurate material masters, duplicate resolutions & Supervise the material coding activities at site level.
7. Managing Performance
• Monitor supplier performance in order to ensure adequate meeting of timelines and appropriate completeness of deliveries that meet expectations agreed upon.
8. System Support
• Participate in SAP system support activities such as changes to programs, functionality and testing in order to provide recommendations as necessary.
9. Ensure Material Availability
• Set appropriate methods to monitor and expedite stock item deliveries and ensure material availability for stock items.
• Knowledge of different material types, repairable and capital spares
• Internal and External Audit Support to Finance, related to Inventory Functions
• Capable of review overall MRO procedures and able to update material flow as per the process / and to eliminate Non-value-added processes.
10. EH&S Focus
• Comply with all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Support warehouse optimization plans as per EH&S guidelines, support warehouse staff in getting training on material handling and storage.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree/Diploma in Technical Field with Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance field.
• Minimum 4 years in managing inventory in oil/gas/petrochemical related.
• Excellent knowledge in SAP-Inventory Management
Knowledge about MRO material markets, vendors and prices.
